How to get in touch

Students and graduates of the University of Southampton are welcome to make use of the resources on our website to help with their career planning – some of these may require you to sign in with your university username and password/Southampton alumni email address.

Our MyCareer Jobs Board is accessible to all current students of the university, and graduates up to five years after their graduation. MyCareer allows you to:

  • Search and apply for relevant jobs including internships, placements and graduate schemes
  • View careers related events such as Jobs Fairs, recruitment days and conferences
  • Book onto employability workshops offered by the Careers Service (currently suspended but soon to be delivered online)
  • View your notes from any Drop-in or Guidance appointments you attend with the Careers Service

We offer our Drop-in Service to our students and graduates up to five years after their graduation, through which we can provide feedback on any documents relating to your career planning such as a CV or Cover Letter, and arrange for you to have a discussion with one of our careers advisers, who can provide you with advice on your career planning in relation to your degree and your individual goals and circumstances.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to speak to someone, please contact us directly through email at careers@southampton.ac.uk.
