Careers and Employability is open. All of our services are now available remotely.

You can book telephone or video appointments with our Careers Team, attend online workshops, send us a query and access all of our resources online.

You can submit queries via TARGETconnect. You can use this feature to ask for general information and advice, as well as sending CVs and cover letters to be reviewed, or you can email us at careers@lancaster.ac.uk for any other queries.

You can access our Careers Drop-Ins remotely by booking a Careers Quick Query on TARGETconnect. The Careers Quick Query appointments are 15 minutes long, and are a great way to have one of our team give you some advice about your CV, cover letter, job application or other quick Careers queries. These appointments will be run as an online one-to-one video or audio call.

We will continue to run a range of workshops and skills sessions via webinar. You can find our calendar of workshops on TARGETconnect.

You can still book careers advice appointments on TARGETconnect - these will be conducted remotely. Please add in the notes section indicating if you would like a video or telephone appointment.

The Careers Portal has a range of information and interactive activities available, including career assessments, interview simulations, and tools to develop your management, teamwork, presentation, communication, resilience and other core career skills.

Upload your CV to CV360 on the Careers Portal, and receive a personalised report within seconds. You'll be given accurate and insightful feedback on your CV, with a list of ways to improve, including checking your spelling, headers, grammar, skills and chronology.

The Shortlist.me video-interview platform allows you to practise realistic video interviews that have been designed by top graduate employers and by Careers staff, especially tailored for you.

We also have a podcast which will continue to release new episodes on a range of topics relating to securing your dream graduate role.
